Barbara: Hi everyone! Welcome to this episode of Quarantine Q&A where we answer your most frequently asked questions.

Today’s question is, “Are you married?”

The answer is, yes, we are married and I think we get this question a lot because I didn’t change my last name. I really just didn’t want to. It was pure laziness and it wasn’t something that you really cared about that much, so I just didn’t do it. I didn’t feel like going to the DMV and social security office.

Mark: It’s too much work.

Barbara: Way too much work, so we just didn’t do it.

We had a small wedding. It wasn’t very traditional because we’re not a very traditional couple. I’m not the type of girl that really dreamed about having a big wedding. I always just wanted something small and intimate, so we actually just got married at City Hall in Philadelphia. We just kind of went there one day and said let’s just do it, and 6 months later we had a party down in Florida because that’s where our families were living, and it was a lot of fun. It was exactly what we wanted. We didn’t make a big deal out of it and we just had a good time. It was just nice get together with our family and friends.

Mark: And I think…so another thing that people always ask us is, “You’re married and you work together? How do you do that?”

So that’s another question we get that kind of corresponds with being married. “How do you work with your spouse all the time?” We’ve answered this before in a past video. You have to just kind of have separate work environments and out your headphones on. You don’t have to be next to your spouse all day working. A little separation is a good thing.

Barbara: Yeah, and if you want to watch that video, we can put a link to that down below and you can check that out.

We don’t really have any problems working with each other. Like he said, we just kind of do our own thing. We have our own separate roles so…

Mark: We do meet up for lunch at noon.

Barbara: [laughs] We do, we have our lunch break.

Mark: We’re really routine when it comes to stuff like that. We usually quit around 5. We try to keep a regular schedule.

Barbara: Yeah, exactly. So, that’s the first episode of Quarantine Q&A. We’re probably going to do a couple more of these throughout this quarantine that we’re all in, so you can look forward to those videos and see you next time.

Mark: See ya!
