If you’re a coach or consultant, having a great website will showcase who you are and get potential clients excited about working with you. In today’s video, I’m going to go over 5 things that you can do right now to improve your coaching or consulting website.

1. Include Testimonials or Case Studies

Number 1 is to include testimonials or case studies. One of the best ways that you can attract potential clients on your website is by adding testimonials of people that you’ve previously worked with. This helps people get excited about the potential of working with you and it shows the work that you’ve done for your other clients.

If you’re investing in coaching or consulting, you’re hoping to achieve a specific goal, so having this information on your website really helps people get to know what it is that you do and how you help people. I definitely recommend adding either case studies or testimonials on your website from your previous clients that really show the results that you delivered for them.

2. Encourage Action

Number 2 is to encourage action. As a coach or a consultant, part of your job is to encourage people to take action, so your website should do the same thing.

Including call to action buttons on your website encourages people to take the next step and points them in the right direction. Be sure to strategically place them on your website on every page.

3. Include Email List Opt-Ins

Number 3 is to include email list opt-ins. Having an email list is an essential part of marketing for a coach or a consultant because it lets you communicate with people over time. Including email list opt-ins on your website is a great way to build your email list with people that are already interested in what you have to offer.

Having an incentive for downloading, like a freebie or an e-b0ok or a PDF, something like that, can really help encourage even more subscribers. so consider adding that as well.

4. Showing Off Your Personality

Number 4 is showing off your personality. Branding is really important for coaches or consultants because let’s face it, there’s a lot of you guys out there. So in order to stand out, you really need to show your personality.

Make sure that your branding is on point. Your logos, your fonts, your colors, photos, website copy – they all have to feel like you. If they don’t, you’re just going to get lost in a sea of other coaches and consultants. You need to stand out by showing off your personality and really making people connected to who you are. Because when people feel connected to you, they are more likely to invest in what you have to offer.

5. Make It About The Visitor

Number 5 is to make it about the visitor. When it comes to the copy on your website, it’s important to think about it from the visitor’s perspective.

  • What do they struggle with?
  • What pain points do they face every single day?
  • How can you help them?

When you come at it from the visitor’s perspective, it lets them know that you understand what they are going through. You can relate to them and you have a solution that can help them. When they read that, they are going to be more likely to invest in you because you’re telling them what the solution is, instead of just talking all about yourself.

So those are 5 things you can do right now to improve your coaching or consulting website. If you’re a coach or consultant and found this video helpful, be sure to give it a thumbs up and leave a comment down below if it helped you improve your website. We’d love to hear what you have to say.
