About

Bredenbeck’s Bakery has been serving the Philadelphia area since 1889. They provide custom treats, wedding cakes, and ice cream in the heart of Chestnut Hill. Their cake designs have been featured on Food Network and The Knot’s Best of Weddings.

Addressing Problems

We started the redesign process by restructuring the navigation to make it less cluttered and hard to navigate. By doing this, we were able to remove several unnecessary pages and simplify their galleries. We created specific forms for both specialty and wedding cake inquries to make it easier for staff to distinguish customer needs. Bredenbeck’s knew online ordering was the future, so we created an online shop where customers could order their favorite treats. Lastly, we added a MailChimp opt in form to the site so Bredenbeck’s could easily manage their mailing list instead of having to add contacts manually.

Organized Galleries

We used Elementor’s gallery widget to create organized galleries on one page, instead of having multiple pages for galleries.

Wedding Page

A big part of Bredenbeck’s business is creating custom wedding cakes. We dedicated a page on the site just for weddings that included an inquiry form as well as specific FAQs regarding the wedding cake process.

Online Store

Bredenbeck’s wanted to expand its business online, so we created an online store using WooCommerce that made it easy for customers to order their favorite treats. Two weeks after launching their store, Bredenbeck’s made back their website design investment.
